My Producing pairs the harlequin is the Male and the Catalina macaw is the female. Hand raised hybrid babies are the only way to go! Their breathtaking colors are fascinating and their personalities are adorable. It is a second generation hybrid and is influenced by the genes of three different species of macaws.

The Maui Sunrise Macaw is not only rare for its beauty but for its sweet nature and speaking ability. Typically takes on the Blue and Gold for a generally sweet demeanor, a bit of Green-winged to lead to a more easy going nature docile side with some of the natural clownish personality of the Harlequin Macaw and the striking beautiful coloration of the Scarlet macaw.
